Condition Guidelines
Excellent Condition: If a book is described as being in excellent condition, this means it is in new or near-new condition. There are no marks or bumps or tears. This can also be used to describe antique books that are in exceptional condition, but may show very small signs of age.
Good Condition: If a book is described as being in good condition, there may be a few bumps or creases, or other signs of slight damage. The damage present will be detailed in the description and evident in pictures. Good condition books often have mostly no damage, but show small signs of having been read previously.
Fair Condition: There are very few books on our shelves that would be described as in fair condition. We strive to only stock books in good to excellent condition, but sometimes we come across a story that we feel deserves to be out in the world, but the book itself is a bit worn out. These books are often £3 or less, and will always be readable.
Please feel free to email us on enquiries@laureltreebooks.co.uk if you have any questions or would like more information about the condition of any of our books!
